East African Business and Investment Summit 2023

The East African Business Council (EABC), in collaboration with Afreximbank, is organizing the East African Business and Investment Summit 2023. The Summit is themed "Private Sector-Driven Regional Integration for Increased Intra-African Trade, Investment & Economic Growth" is scheduled to take place on August 31 - September 1, 2023, at Speke Munyonyo in Uganda. The Summit will delve into the successes and barriers to trade and investment in the East African Community (EAC) and the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). It is a platform to chart out the future trajectory and needed policy reforms to deliver quick wins towards leveraging higher levels of investment and trade in East Africa and Africa. The Summit will showcase opportunities and present viable projects ready for investment to East African, African, and international investors, facilitate B2B engagements, joint ventures, and partnerships. This Summit is organized in close collaboration with the East African Community Secretariat, Private Sector Foundation Uganda, Uganda Manufacturers Association, and Uganda Investment Authority.
