Tesia Isanga Organization is a non-governmental Organization headquartered in Nairobi Kenya that provides long term and short term facilities and activities necessary for poverty eradication in Kenya by empowering communities and by collaborating and networking with other stakeholders.

Most of T.I.O’s work is primarily in the field were we work with communities directly to create a conductive environment for the community to attain their maximum potential through education and skill training. As a N.G.O we are Open for volunteers whom are willing to share their skills and expertise with the Kenyan coastal community and any monetary funding to supplement the communal income generating activities we undertake will be heartily appreciated.

ELIZABETH MUMBI MADOKA (MBs, B.Th.)

Is one of the organization’s founders and the current Executive Director. She has a passionate concern for the welfare of Kenyan communities, she is also a prolific author having written the recently acclaimed autobiography Miss Uhuru 1963 working for Mzee Jomo Kenyatta. The book captures a rich history of her interaction with the first family and Kenya before and after independence as she was president Jomo Kenyatta’s first and only social secretary since the founding father took over the reins of power in 1963, and she held that position till the demise of the president in 1978.she is currently assisting the organization in creating a video series on African folk tales.
